License Terms

These License Terms explain what you may do with digital products purchased on TemplateHub. A purchase grants a license to use the files under the license type shown on the product listing at the time of purchase — it does not transfer ownership of the seller’s intellectual property. The current product stores license type on the product record; it does not snapshot a separate license type field onto the order row.

License types in the product model are: Single License, Multi License, and Extended License. Product forms and listing UI describe them as: Single — use on one project; Multi — use on up to five projects; Extended — unlimited projects plus resale (as clarified below).

This page is a content draft aligned to that product model. It is not legal advice and is not final until an Effective date is published after business confirmation and counsel review.

"Item" means the digital product files, previews, and associated downloadable package you purchase on TemplateHub (for example a template, UI kit, or related asset package).

"End Product" means a customized implementation you create that incorporates the Item (for example a launched website, app UI, or client deliverable built with the template).

"Project" means one distinct End Product undertaking — typically one production website, application, or shipped product for one primary brand or client engagement. Internal staging copies of the same End Product generally count as the same Project; separate client sites or separate commercial products generally count as separate Projects. Edge cases may be clarified with support; final formal definitions are subject to counsel (TBD where disputed).

"Seller" means the marketplace seller who listed the Item. "Buyer" / "you" means the purchasing account holder (and personnel using the Item on your behalf under your license).

"Resale" under an Extended License is defined in Section 6 and does not mean uploading the original source package to a competing marketplace.

Each product listing selects one license type offered for that Item: single, multi, or extended. The product page and cart line show the license associated with the purchase.

Overview (product-aligned):

Single License — use on one Project.

Multi License — use on up to five Projects.

Extended License — use on an unlimited number of Projects, plus the limited resale rights described in Section 6.

Common restrictions in Section 7 apply to all tiers unless an Extended right expressly allows a use. If you need broader rights than your tier allows, purchase the appropriate tier or obtain a separate written grant from the Seller (TemplateHub does not automatically upgrade licenses).

A Single License permits you to use the Item to create one (1) End Product / Project.

Permitted examples (illustrative): building one client website; launching one product landing page; creating one internal tool UI for a single deployment — provided you stay within one Project as defined above.

Not permitted under Single alone: reusing the same Item as the basis for a second client site or second commercial product; offering the raw Item for redistribution; claiming you authored the original template design itself.

You may make backups and development/staging copies solely for that one Project.

A Multi License permits you to use the Item on up to five (5) Projects, aligned with current product copy ("Use on up to 5 projects").

Permitted examples (illustrative): an agency using the same template as a starting point for up to five separate client End Products; a studio shipping up to five distinct sites derived from the Item.

Not permitted under Multi alone: sixth and further Projects under that Multi grant; redistributing the source package; any Extended-only resale use described in Section 6.

Each listing offers a single license tier chosen by the seller (Single, Multi, or Extended). Buyers cannot select a different tier at checkout for the same listing. If you need broader rights than Multi provides, you need a listing that offers Extended (or another lawful written grant from the Seller). Re-purchasing the same Multi or Single listing does not automatically upgrade your project count beyond what that listing’s license tier allows.

An Extended License permits use of the Item on an unlimited number of Projects, plus limited resale rights as follows.

What "resale" means here (product-aligned draft): you may incorporate the Item into End Products that you sell to clients or end users (for example delivering a customized website or app to a customer) without buying a new TemplateHub license for each client Project, subject to Section 7.

What "resale" does not mean:

You may not redistribute, resell, lease, or sublicense the Item’s source package substantially as-is on TemplateHub, another marketplace, a torrent, a repo of "free downloads," or any channel that competes with or substitutes for purchasing the Item.

You may not repackage the Item with only trivial changes and sell it as a competing template, UI kit, or stock product.

You may not claim authorship of the original Item design or remove seller copyright / license notices required by third-party components except where those components’ licenses allow.

Edge cases (SaaS multi-tenant products that expose the template broadly, white-label template businesses, etc.) are TBD / may require Seller written approval beyond this draft. When in doubt, contact the Seller and TemplateHub before assuming an Extended right covers that model.

Unless a more specific license tier expressly allows it, you must not:

Redistribute or publicly share the original downloadable source package, private download URLs, or unlock codes.

Use the Item for illegal, harmful, or infringing purposes, including malware, phishing, or rights-violating clones of third-party brands.

Remove or obscure intellectual-property notices in a way that misrepresents authorship of the original Item.

Circumvent TemplateHub technical controls to obtain files without a valid completed purchase.

Use the Item in a way that violates the Seller’s third-party component licenses (fonts, stock, open-source libraries) bundled inside the package.

Transfer your TemplateHub license to a third party as a standalone sale of the license key/files without the End Product context allowed by your tier — except as counsel later permits in final terms (TBD).

Items may include fonts, icons, stock media, npm packages, or other open-source / third-party components. Those components remain under their own licenses.

Sellers are responsible for rights clearance and for disclosing material third-party license obligations in listings or documentation where practical. Buyers must comply with bundled third-party licenses when building End Products.

TemplateHub does not independently audit every file in every package. IP complaints follow the DMCA / Copyright Policy. Seller warranties appear in the Seller Terms.

Unless a listing expressly promises ongoing updates or support, a license purchase grants access to the files as delivered at purchase time (and any re-download of the current package for that product while your completed order remains eligible under platform download rules).

Seller-provided support, if any, is between buyer and seller for product quality questions. Platform support handles account, payment, download-access, and refund-process issues under the Refund Policy and Terms of Service.

Product version labels shown in the catalog may change over time; a purchase does not guarantee free major redesigns forever unless the Seller states that in the listing.

If your order is refunded or a chargeback/dispute results in reversal of the purchase, the license for that order ends. Further downloads are blocked when the order is no longer in completed status under platform download rules, and you must cease use of the Item except where mandatory law requires a different result.

License misuse, IP infringement, or serious Terms violations may also terminate license rights for affected Items and lead to account enforcement.

TemplateHub and Sellers may investigate credible reports of license misuse (for example redistributing source packages on other markets). We may use order records, download logs, and public evidence consistent with the Privacy Policy.

Remedies may include download revocation, account suspension, listing removal, DMCA processes, and pursuit of legal remedies. Sellers may also enforce their copyrights directly.

Buyers who need a formal audit process or enterprise license schedule: TBD / Requires Business Input for any expanded commercial program beyond the three standard tiers.

Questions about which tier you purchased or how it applies to a Project should start with the product page license label, your order/receipt details, and — for product-specific intent — the Seller.
